Magic: The Gathering Arena, the digital adaptation of the Magic: The Gathering card game, is a very accessible free-to-play collectible card game that’s becoming more and more popular since its release in September 2019.
Of course, the games are quite complex, with players having to use decks of cards that generate five separate colors of mana, and play cards that consume that mana to summon creatures and cast various types of spells.
If you’re a die-hard MTGA player, then you might be interested in what Lotus Tracker has to offer. Lotus Tracker is an MTGA deck tracker that allows you to keep track of your collections, decks, wildcards, gold, gems, and vault progress, as well as analyze matches and event results. In short, every piece of information a passionate MTGA player needs to improve at the game.
Before we go even further, it’s worth noting that the tracker is written in C++, it uses QT5, and it’s based a lot on the Track-o-Bot project created by Steven Schmid. As expected, the application requires your MTGA official credentials to be able to pull the required information. You should also know that the application relies on another service called Untapped.gg.
The application boasts tray integration, as well as auto-start and auto-updated systems. Everything can be easily configured according to your needs from the app’s Preferences menu. There are two main sections dubbed Settings and Overlay.
As mentioned before, it’s capable of synchronizing your games (all your matches and events results). Things get even more interesting as the app also allows you to configure your deck overlay (show/hid cards with 0 copies remaining). Based on the cards used, Lotus Tracker can also display your opponent’s card overlay and deck archetype.
You are provided with5 levels of zoom, a collapsible/expandable overlay (one mouse click to either collapse or expand), and fully configurable overlay for your cards. Another neat feature is the fact that Lotus Tracker allows you to change the overlay opacity for both you and your opponent.
Having said all that, if you’re an MTGA aficionado, and you’re looking for a dependable tracker, then Lotus Tracker definitely deserves your attention.
