PSVitaPlay is an application designed for PlayStation Vita owners. It was created in order to allow any user to be able to stream the action from this small handheld console to a bigger screen, via USB and a Windows-based PC. The whole idea requires a bit of computer knowledge, but nothing that would be related to rocket science. Basically, you're required to install software on both your PC and PSVita in order for the streaming system to work properly.
Once you've set up the whole system and have made sure the console screen actually manages to be broadcast on your PC, you can adjust a couple of elements. Firstly, you can decide on the graphic quality of the stream, whether you want it to run in full-screen or not, how audio should be played, sharpness, and a couple of other color-related changes. If by some chance your screen remains white, keep in mind that you might have to disengage or deactivate any extra webcams connected to your PC.
This program is not really complex in terms of how it presents itself. It is also portable, meaning you can carry it on a stick with you and launch it on any PC. You'll still have to connect your PSVita to that machine in order for the whole thing to work, but that is something that you probably expected by now. This application can really make a difference in games where small details can be missed, especially on a screen the size of an older phone.
PSVitaPlay is a cool way to enjoy your PSVita games in a totally different light than before. It won't require much skill and will immediately produce rewards. Do make sure you also install the appropriate plug-in on your PSVita for the whole thing to work. More information can be found on the developer's page as to how the whole system works.
What's new in PSVitaPlay 4:
- No more watermark lines, fixed the problem of not being able to detect the audio device if its not set as default (Basicly you don't need to have the psvita as your default mic for it to work on psvitadock anymore).
