It did take some time to understand which controls what, but in the long run, it was worth it.

The subsequent times I used the app, things went much smoother on account of already knowing what each particular element was designed for. The interface is neat, and it does not confuse the user with too many options. You open your save file and then save it, although I'd recommend creating a backup as well, for safety purposes.
