The cornerstone of progression in Genshin Impact is resin management. Whether you like it or not, if you want to improve and optimize your characters to deal the most damage, you'll have to head into their respective Talent and Artifact Domains, for which you'll need resin to claim the rewards. The same holds true when you want to farm bosses.

One unit of resin is refreshed every 8 minutes, and to claim the domain and bosses rewards, you'll have to wait awhile. While you could track it by calculating manually, Resin Tracker works to make things easier: input your existing resin, and the software will handle the rest.

Though you may not need to boot up the game to set the tool up, it should be noted that it's recommended you remember the resin you had prior to logging off. It doesn't have to be an exact figure, but the closer, the better.

Regardless, this small Genshin utility is as simple as they come. While there's even an official tool on mobile to provide users with their exact number of Original Resin, having to pick up your phone, open up the app, then navigate to the Resin section might be a rather unwieldy operation for some.

The way the software operates is straightforward. Input your resin in the interface, and the tool is going to add a unit every 8 minutes, until it reaches the cap at 160.

Whenever you want to check your resin's status, click the app's icon from your system tray, and you'll be up-to-date right away. If you wish to reset your counter back to 0, you can click the resin icon from within the interface.

What's more, it's worth pointing out that the program automatically calculates your resin even after closing it.

Resin Tracker is fundamentally simple software, but that doesn't prevent it from being a useful tool for those in need. It's easy to set up and use, and though it may not be the fanciest app you'll come across, it does the job.
