Steam achievement viewer

Steam achievement viewer is a neat program that showcases all your earned badges on the Steam platform. All you have to do is link your Steam ID and all your earned achievements will be loaded by the tool, without having to install the core program.

The first and only requirement with this application is finding one's Steam ID. If you already have that, you can proceed to use the app, if not, using Google how to find and display the code should be the first concern.

SAV is portable, so you just have to launch it. Paste the Steam ID into the designated field and wait for the program to identify your account. Upon identification, your profile picture will appear in the upper-right corner. From there, you have four achievement categories to work with.

You can easily check your Most recently earned badges, closest achievements, or rarest trophies. Taking a look at the default categories, one might think that these are not enough, especially if a user has dozens or hundreds of unlocked badges that could match other categories that are not present.

While the art used to depict the badges is similar to the original, some achievements do seem to fail in being completely emulated. Having placeholders or other images attached to them.

Also, there is a need for improvement in the translation department, as the Closest categories do not make sense for now. Steam achievement viewer is a developing project, however, which probably means that it will still take some time and work in order to look and feel as smooth as possible.

Steam achievement viewer is not a bad idea for a project, but it still needs some work on the execution part. Having a decentralized Steam achievement pool is great for showcasing and boasting, but until the right recipe is found, you can stick with this version of SAV.
