By now, we're used to all sorts of time-related applications that deal with timezones and whatnot, but Zombie Standard Time is a quirky name for an application that has little to do with the time in our world or dimension.

In fact, this launcher for the State of Decay game is a great way to change a bit of the scenario development time in the game, which unfolds even when you do not play the game. While it was an innovative feature, for some it seemed like a dealbreaker. With this program, this whole aspect will be changed.

In case you thought it was a turn-on or off thing, you'd be mistaken. There are more levels to the adjustments brought on by the app. For example, you can disable and enable the simulated time feature, that's true, but you can also give limited simulated time or even increase the stake with the force simulated time option. Right, so this needs a little explaining.

The time you spend offline, not playing the game, is still taken into account when you log back into State of Decay. With this launcher, you change the settings for this period. You can disable it, meaning you will resume where you left off, you can have it working as intended, have it work only partially without as many effects, or allow it to work full-time as if you were logged into the game and playing.

Although it seems as if the app was created to stop the game from pushing any scenarios while you are not playing, it can be used just as well for increasing or creating an overall more difficult-to-manage experience for the player. Can your survivors last a couple of weeks without your direct contribution? That's something you will have to take into consideration when enabling or disabling any of this launcher's features.
