Bookmarks are super useful when it comes to going back to your favorite site or channel, in one click only. However, if you are keep forgetting to or do not wish to import your bookmarks each time you log perform an OS reinstallation or a simple log in on a different device, saving them your Google Drive might keep them safe for further use. Bookmarks Backuper is a neat little extension that allows you to save your bookmarks to your Google Drive account and also to access them from the temporary local storage.

Click on the yellow star icon to get access to either storage mediums. If you proceed to check the local files, a new tab will open and display your bookmarks along with information about their title, URL, and the date they were added. The date however is going to be displayed as a JSON string, so there is no reason to panic if you don't understand why it looks like that.

On the flip side, if you opt to sync the bookmarks with your Google Drive account, the list will be opened as an Excel spreadsheet, but with exactly the same information as the local storage.

If the computer is not your main tool for the job, you should be aware that the extension offers the same services for mobile devices as well. So if you are constantly on the move but you still choose to stay in touch with what the Internet has to offer, you can easily save your bookmarks from your smartphone as well.

Bookmarks Backuper does not offer cutting-edge features that you aren't able to get from anywhere else, but it can definitely help you save your bookmarks with ease.
