Internet browsers come in all shapes and sizes these days, and it is this particular abundance and variation that can make one’s selection process and choice thoughts a quite confusing endeavor, especially considering how many aspects govern the characteristics of a reliable browser. Attempting to address such potential shortcomings and offer users a simplified solution, which dodges confusion, AXplorer was designed as a minimalist, straightforward Internet browser, whose emphasis lies on customization and functionality.

Right from the start, we enjoyed the browser’s simple design, which although minimalist, hides a multitude of features, offered both as on-screen controls, as well as tucked in dedicated sub-menus.

Aside from the classic tab approach, AXplorer also targets subsequent, third-party apps, through its dedicated “AXIA” menu, which performs referrals to the different apps. The included tab selector is also a nifty feature, which allows one to easily select one of the preferred tabs, especially useful when dealing with crowded sessions.

The available functionality that one can find through the app’s tools and features is on par with what you’d expect to find these days in an Internet browser, and we feel that manages to cover a pretty standard requirement set.

One highlight that we felt to be well-developed, is the app’s settings section, which is detailed enough to provide a very customizable experience, but not so much as to hinder accessibility and potentially deter novice users from performing tweaks.

AXplorer addresses those who seek a simple and efficient browser, which although sports a minimalist design, also packs a punch in the functionality department.
