It’s an Electron-based, stylish and modern application designed to offer a straightforward and elegant solution to the issue of over-tabbing. To be more precise, Biscuit is a browser, one specifically designed to help you organize all your web apps in order to improve your overall productivity.

Before you frown upon the idea of this browser, give it a chance by installing it on your computer. You will most definitely notice some similarities with other typical browsers (such as the address bar at the top of the window), but the rest of the UI makes this app a lot different from them. For instance, you will see that all your web apps are listed in the left-sided panel, instead of in separate tabs.

What’s even more, they can be sorted into categories, and groups. Groups can be customized, and you can also specify for which exact apps you want to receive notifications or not. You can add an unlimited number of new web apps directly from the app’s built-in list, or create new custom entries with the lesser known web apps you use on a daily basis.

Of course, the app would have not been very good at its job if it wouldn’t provide you with a way to quickly find specific apps. By pressing CTRL+O, you can access the App Switcher, a feature that allows you to effortlessly search for web apps via simple keywords.

To conclude, while in essence Biscuit is not exactly what you might call a ground-breaking app, it does offer a hassle-free way of keeping your web apps well organized and always within reach. A big part of this is due to its user-friendly GUI that allows even the most novice of users to effortlessly get the hang of things.
