In any office, being able to exchange messages with other team members quickly and without a hassle is of critical importance, and this is precisely what an application such as CF LAN Chat offers to help you with.

First off, it should be pointed out that the program is all about simplicity. Installing it on your system is a breeze, and its user interface is uncluttered. As an added bonus, there are some visual aspects you can change about it, provided that you access its settings section.

As said, the purpose the application serves is to offer a communication channel for your team. As such, the software utility allows the user to send and receive messages within the local area network. You simply need to type your message and click the Send button or hit Enter (an option that is disabled by default).

Aside from that, it is worth pointing out that the application allows you to transfer files from one PC to another in the network, but it unfortunately cannot handle all formats. For instance, we have noticed that it crashed when trying to send an EXE during our tests.

On the bright side, there is another feature that could compensate for this issue. The program enables you to record audio messages and send them to your colleagues at a mouse click.

As you can see, CF LAN Chat is all about simplicity, and it does provide your team with an intuitive communication channel. Nevertheless, its set of features leaves a lot to be desired since it lacks functionality that the competition offers, such as emoji support, the possibility of creating user profiles, support for a wide range of formats for file transfer, and so on and so forth.
