For starters, the application saves you the effort required to go through a setup process, and can be launched right after download. Just make sure that Java Runtime Environment is on your computer because it’s a mandatory requirement for functionality. Since it requires no setup, it can be easily carried around on a thumb drive.

There’s still more to do before you fully benefit from all the application has to offer. All computers participating in this session need to have the Net Send and Messenger services activated.
