Leaving the aspects mentioned above, about the downloading process, the application shines in terms of compatibility, which is highlighted quite eloquently through an impressive library of supported formats and their inherent characteristics.

The application comes equipped with a built-in logger module, which will not only register the undertaken actions but also provide users with a real-time preview of the downloading process, with detailed views of all stages.

Although maybe lacking some basic features, MediaDownloader can still provide a reliable way of downloading videos from YouTube, while enabling users good control over the resulting output media files.
