Save-Vid is advertised as a converter, but in this case, it's more of a download assistant. It can help one download videos or audio from various platforms like YouTube, Vimeo, Rumble, or any other example, the coverage is very wide. As an extra perk, the program provides quick access to various sites and television networks, a majority of them targeting German-speaking users.

As long as you provide a functional URL, the program will download items without any hindrance. The platform you are taking the link from is not important, as Save-Vid appears to work with most of them.

When it comes to download complexity, Save-Vid is not as flexible as some of the competition. For example, you are limited to converting a potential download to either MP4 or MP3, in case you wish to drop the video part. That is also why the converter description is not accurate, despite it being presented as one on its home page.

In short, Save-Vid is a basic URL-based downloader that helps you snag video or audio from most platforms. As for the television crossover, in this state, you can't do much with it, unless you are German. However, if that list had been editable, maybe it would have had more of a practical appliance.
