Although the software market dedicated to this purpose offers plenty of choices, You Vid Downloader provides a simpler approach, addressing all audiences out there.

The installation process will be carried out shortly, with the observation that you need to run the package with administrative rights, otherwise it won’t deploy.

On account of its simplicity, there’s no need for extensive guidelines or a help file, as everything is stated out in the open inside the intuitive and user-friendly interface.

An advantage of You Vid Downloader is that it can download multiple files at a time, being able to fetch and grab entire playlists simultaneously. All you need to do is paste the video URL inside the dedicated field and add it to the download queue.

However, it does not sport an option to add multiple files at the same time; links can be inserted individually, but downloaded in batch.

Another helpful feature is the possibility to choose the format and quality of the output video using a dedicated menu. The application also includes a converter that is able to save the content in another video standard.

On the downside, the main window cannot be moved to another area of the desktop, it’s just stuck to the middle of your screen. Also, it does not feature a clipboard sniffer, as most video downloaders do and doesn’t support proxy.

On an ending note, You Vid Downloader still needs improvements, but it seems to be on the right track despite lacking some of the features that are common for this type of application.
