Ripping content off the Internet is still one of the most required tasks, and regardless if you’re a data hoarder or not, there’s a high chance that you’ve downloaded something off the Internet at some point. Video content makes no exception, and YouTube features some of the most numerous downloads.

ZubiTube Downloader is an application that was designed specifically in order to offer you a simple and straightforward way of saving your favorite YouTube videos quickly and efficiently, in your preferred quality settings.

The application comes sporting a basic design, which incorporates a single-interface that incorporates only the essentials in terms of functionality. To that end, you will be able to manually add your corresponding YT URL (yes, manually, but more on that later), select the preferred output characteristics and hit download.

While having a very simple and accessible modus operandi, the app does lack automated clipboard content detection, which means that you will have to manually input the URL each time. Not ideal.

As stated above, you will be able to select the preferred output video quality, but you will first need to interrogate to obtain the available resolutions. Again, not ideal, as it would have been nice for the app to automatically detect the available resolutions.

A nice option that is provided, which allows you to only download the audio tracks for the selected video, and I feel that this brings a small degree of versatility to the app.

Despite being limited in terms of ergonomics, ZubiTube Downloader manages to provide accessible and straightforward functionality when it comes to downloading videos from YouTube.
