BitRecover IncrediMail Converter Wizard

BitRecover IncrediMail Converter Wizard is an application designed to extract emails from IncrediMail files with the IMM, IML or DB* format and turn them into EML, EMLX, PST, MGG, PDF, HTML, RTF, MBOX, MBX or CSV. It features intuitive options that can be approached even by those with no previous experience in mail conversion utilities.

The installation procedure takes little time and effort since there are no special settings involved. If you don't have Windows Live Mail, then BitRecover IncrediMail Converter Wizard tells you at setup that it can be optionally installed to automatically retrieve emails. Otherwise, you can use the built-in file browser to navigate the hard drive and locate a file or folder with many IMM, IML or DB* files to open. Also, the app can be instructed to use IncrediMail v2.5 and/or raw mode.

Once the messages from the files are extracted, you can view all identities in the main window, which are neatly structured in a tree on the left. On the right, you can check out the date, sender, receiver and subject of all mails, along with the message and attachments. Graphical content cannot be displayed by the program in the main window.

On the bright side, you can double-click any attachment to open its location in Windows Explorer, thanks to the fact that BitRecover IncrediMail Converter Wizard extracts the attachments to file. If you're looking for a particular piece of information, there's an integrated search function you can resort to, which can take into account the entire raw message, the displayed headers only as well as a specific date range.

When it comes to saving options, you can select one of the output formats provided by the program, indicate the saving directory, and customize file naming options by filtering header information. For example, you can include the sender, subject and date in the file names.

All aspects considered, BitRecover IncrediMail Converter Wizard delivers a simple solution for converting IncrediMail files into other formats in batch mode. It left a small footprint on the computer's performance in our tests and worked smoothly on Windows 10.
