Considering how easy it can be to get an email address flooded with spam, migrating to another service with better spam protection is among the more common reasons for one to consider a migration tool. Aside from that, some users just want to start anew, with a new address to show for it — again, migration software can help if you're looking to transfer the prior correspondence from the other address.

In terms of exporting, the app is rather generous with the number of options it offers: .EML, .MSG, .MBOX are other email extensions to convert into. You also have the option to choose to export as a document file: here, conversion into .HTML, .PDF, .CSV, and other such extensions is available. You may also directly export to a cloud email service, such as GMAIL, Office 365, and so forth.

As for extracting, you can select to extract only the email addresses, phone numbers, attachments, or the contact photos from your .PST file. This is to help users better keep track of the more important aspects of their correspondence.
