Configuring the folders to monitor is also required. A local directory can be monitored in real time, with or without its subdirectories. It is also possible to set a so-called processed folder, where all the attached files will be sent, as well as a “Failed” folder, which stores files that could not be sent for various reasons.

While Black Ice FileFlow actively keeps an eye on incoming files that are ready to be shared via email, know that file filtering is also possible. You can configure Black Ice FileFlow to only email files with a certain extension or a specific string in the filename. Size is also a criterion at this point, allowing you to only email files that are smaller than a minimum of your choice.
