PDF Postman

PDF Postman is a reliable Outlook add-in that enables you to send secure email messages to your recipents, by using the PDF encryption type. You can encode your emails with the appropriate type of encryption, as well as protect your messages with a password.

The data you need to share can be protected against unauthorised views or access, by encrypting it, so that only the intended recipient can read it. The add-in applies the PDF encryption mode, in 128-bit or 256-bit AES, both compatible with different versions of Acrobat. You can encode both the email message and any attachments.

The process is simple: select the recipient, write your message and send it using PDF Postman. The add-in can automatically convert your message to a secure PDF and insert the email attachments inside the document.

You may apply additional protection, by setting a password that grants the recipient access to the PDF containing the message. The intended recipient should know the password and easily open the message or extract the files using the PDF viewer software on their computer.

A separate password can be set for each recipient address individually. You can manage the address – password association from the PDF Postman Settings window. The software can include an automatically generated message, letting the recipient know he or she has received an encrypted message.

The add-in enables you to store all the passwords and the associated email addresses in a local database, in a remote file or generate copies and send them to both locations. You simply need to specify the server name and credentials and choose whether or not to synchronize the local and remote databases, at a certain time interval.

PDF Postman is a simple yet effective Outlook add-in that enables you to protect the data you send to one or more recipients. By encrypting the email message and attachments, the recipient receives a secure, read-only PDF, which he or she can access if they know the password you set. You only need to specify a password once, the add-in can remember and use it automatically for future messages.
