YL Mail Verifier

YL Mail Verifier is a simple-to-use piece of software designed to verify the validity of email addresses. It comes packed with an intuitive set of options that can be easily figured out by all types of users, regardless of their previous experience with such tools.

The installation takes little time to finish. As far as the interface goes, YL Mail Verifier adopts a regular window with a clear-cut structure, where email addresses can be added to the list one at a time, or opened from a plain text text document (mailing list).

YL Mail Verifier is capable of verifying all email addresses, or just the domain or syntax, only unchecked, failed, bad or good. The scanning procedure does not take a long time, and the tool shows the email addresses and their check results in the main frame.

Errors vary from “recipient rejected” to “could not verify recipient”. Of course, rechecking the emails is possible as well. The program also displays statistics on the total number of email addresses, invalid and valid ones, along with log details.

All addresses, bad ones, checked or just failed ones can be exported to file for closer inspection and safekeeping. As far as program options are concerned, it is possible to change the default number of threads, HELO domain and MAIL FROM, along with the DNS and SMPT timeout.

The app does not put a strain on PC performance, since it runs on low CPU and RAM. It has a good response time and delivers results quickly. We have not come across any stability issues throughout our evaluation, since it did not hang, crash or pop up error dialogs.

On the other hand, YL Mail Verifier marked several invalid email addresses as valid during our evaluation, so it doesn't always deliver accurate results. We must also take into account that the app has not been updated for a while
