Things 3 users who rely heavily on the application’s task managing capabilities could be having interoperability issues when it comes to migrating their Windows tasks onto the iOS app, and short of doing that manually, there really aren’t too many options available out there for managing the said tasks.

sendToThings, just as its name aptly suggests, is an application that was developed specifically in order to offer users a tool for adding tasks to the Inbox of their Things 3 app, from their Windows machines, without having to go through some manual procedure of migrating data to their iOS machines.

The application offers two main components, one for the actual task sending process, and one for the configuration, the latter allowing users to fine-tune their settings for the email account. The said configuration module will enable one to add a variety of details, such as the corresponding Things email address, SMTP Server and Port combination, as well as the password for the provided credentials.

Last but not least, users must be aware that when using Google Mail as the SMTP server, they need to enable the “lesssecureapps” feature from the Google settings their corresponding email account.
