Transfer files across devices — including mobile ones — connected on the same network seamlessly through this straightforward utility. #File Sharing #File Transfer #Network Transfer #File #Sharing #Transfer
The best thing about sharing a file with another device is that there's more than one option. You're not locked to using a specific website or service, as transferring something can be done in a multitude of ways. To help users by providing yet another way of transferring data, photon is an app that was designed with ease-of-use in mind: that is, granting users a safe and seamless way to share files between devices.
Fittingly, the tool comes packaged in a modern interface, whose design is faintly minimalist. The two big features — Share and Receive — are front-and-center, so users can get to transferring their files right away.
It's worth noting that, for the file transfer to take place, the devices must be logged into the same Wi-Fi or mobile network. While iOS devices won't be able to benefit from the features of this app, development is underway to rectify that.
Nevertheless, Windows, Linux, macOS, and Android devices can all take advantage of what's on offer here. As sharing and receiving is such a simple affair, all the end user has to do is approve the transfer, and that's all there is to it.
