Transferring files to other devices is something that we all do, and whether this is handled through the cloud, by connecting your phone to your computer via a USB cable, or by pairing your devices, there are several methods to go about such a process. Transferring files through the cloud may look like the most convenient method, but sending them through a dedicated tool that pairs your devices can be just as worry-free.

That's how AirDash functions, and it's an accessible, convenient way to transfer files of any size, from your computer to your mobile phone — and vice-versa. All you need is a pairing code.

Operating the program is just as easy as using the cloud, if not even more so. Install the app on your computer and smartphone, and pair them. This is done by prompting to pair a new device: here, you'll need to introduce your computer's pairing ID on your phone, and vice-versa. The devices will then appear in the interface, and you'll be able to start sharing your files after selecting a recipient.

There is seemingly no limit on allowed file sizes, so you can even transfer whatever you wish — sure, transferring dozens of gigabytes of data could pose a problem, but there's technically no limit on how much you can transfer.

Sending and receiving files was a simple process that took only a few seconds, including the device pairing and the effective file sharing. We were able to send photos, videos, and larger documents without any issues, and it took no work at all.

It's worth noting that you will need to have the app on your mobile device as well, because the pairing process wouldn't work otherwise. Regardless, whether for the occasional file transfer, or for more intensive file sharing duties, AirDash is an app worth trying.
