Envelop is a cross-browser extension that works with Chrome, but also with Firefox and Opera. Easy to install and very accessible, with only one click on its toolbar icon you will get access to the window where you can drag and drop your files to be uploaded.

All your files are encrypted, only you being the one allowed to access them. And as soon as you upload a file, you get a link that can be shared with your friends or colleagues. But be careful who you share the link with because that enables anyone to download your file.
