Bookmarks Quick Search For Chrome

Every reputable web browser has a bookmark manager that enables users to quickly save their favorite sites or webpages they want to revisit later. Google Chrome is no exception, allowing you to quickly save a page by clicking on the little star in the address bar.

The bookmark manager can be accessed via the main menu of Chrome and the bookmark bar can also be toggled with ease. The Bookmarks Quick Search add-on for Chrome makes it even easier to search through all the links saved as bookmarks, all with a simple add-on.

Bookmarks Quick Search is easily installed in Chrome and a new button is shown in the Extension section, right next to the address bar. To have it in sight and use it quickly, it is advisable you pin it to the main window of Chrome.

You must still bookmark pages as before. Note that Bookmarks Quick Search only provides search capabilities, it does not come with options to manage bookmarks in Chrome.

Clicking the extension’s button reveals a small pop-up window that boasts a list of all the bookmarks, regardless of their category or folder. A search form is also present, but keep in mind there are no additional filters and search criteria to consider. Even so, it is enough that Bookmarks Quick Search For Chrome performs keyword and even character-based searches.

With Bookmarks Quick Search, you can quickly search through all the bookmarks you previously saved. Suggestions are shown as you type.

Right-click on any of the bookmarks to get a surprise! Additional options enable you to save a link, inspect the page and even generate a QR code for the visited page or any other URL or text.

The QR code can be customized and adjusted. You can easily adjust the size of the margin and the overall size of the QR code. Once the code is created, you can preview it and save it as a PNG or a SVG file.

Bookmarks Quick Search for Chrome allows you to search for a page you previously saved as a bookmark and create a QR code for quicker access.   The extension can really come in handy when there is a plethora of bookmarks saved and you cannot find the link you are looking for.
