If you usually have a lot of emails arriving in your inbox and disrupting your productivity, maybe it's time to turn to specialized software solutions that can simplify this task.

Caspy is one of the tools that were designed to help you sort it all out by only notifying you if an important email reaches your inbox.

Given that this app is actually a Google Chrome extension, it requires the host application to be installed on the target computer so that you can use it as intended.

The installation process is fairly simple, as you only need to access its web store page and hit the "Add to Chrome" button, as the rest of the process unfolds automatically.

First things first, it is worth mentioning that Caspy only works with Gmail / Inbox, therefore you need a Google account as well. Accessing its interface can be easily done by clicking the dedicated icon in the toolbar.

The app will show you if there are any important emails in your inbox that need your immediate attention. More important, it is capable of learning from your email history which type of emails you usually reply to in order to fetch accurate data.

However, alerting you whenever a high-priority message arrives in your inbox is not the only thing Caspy can do. From its interface, you can quickly reply to an email, snooze it or ignore it altogether. Whenever you ignore an email, this app will try to understand your action by asking you to provide a reason, whether it was because the contact was not important or a reply wasn't required.

It is also possible to configure a notification frequency by selecting the desired item from the options menu. You can choose from "Immediately," "Every hour," "Every Other Hour" and "Twice per day (noon and 4pm)."
