ChatGPT for Chrome & YouTube Summary

Since ChatGPT became the fastest growing app in the world after its launch, it is no wonder that many developers tried to integrate it into various services and make use of its AI-based engine. Same goes for the ChatGPT for Chrome & YouTube Summary extension, an add-on that offers one-click access to ChatGPT and helps you get summaries of YouTube videos much easier.

The extension is easily installed in Chrome and a new button is placed right next to the address bar. The button can be pinned to allow instant access to ChatGPT at any point, regardless of the website you visit.

A button in this box automatically sends a request to ChatGPT to summarize the YouTube video. This only works if a transcript of the video is already available. Otherwise, ChatGPT provides only general information about the video based on its title. Since ChatGPT has a word limit, it can summarize only videos with a length of up to 20 minutes.

ChatGPT for Chrome & YouTube Summary is an interesting browser extension with two main functions.
