Easy Twitch Vods

Rather than watching live streams, many people prefer to watch the recording of a stream, or VOD, later on. Since these are often many hours in length, you may need to remember where you left off so you can continue when you have time to finish watching.

Easy Twitch Vods is a Chrome extension that keeps track of where you stopped watching each VOD and enables you to open it again, at that exact time, from the Chrome toolbar.

After installing the extension, there is nothing else that needs to be configured. You don’t have to provide your Twitch credentials, and there are no settings to be customized.

While watching a Twitch VOD, the extension will start monitoring and will remember the exact time at which playback was stopped. It doesn’t matter if you shut down Chrome, your timestamps will still be there when you restart the browser.

When you’re ready to continue watching a video, simply click the extension’s icon in the Chrome toolbar and select the right VOD. It will instantly be opened at the same point where you left off.

If you wish to select a different video from the same channel, you just have to click the streamer’s profile icon. You will be taken to the channel’s videos section, enabling you to move to the next VOD seamlessly.

Of course, Twitch normally remembers where you left off when watching a video anyway, but Easy Twitch Vods makes it much easier to remember which VOD you were watching and access it.

Overall, this extension could prove to be very useful for those who watch a lot of Twitch videos and need a simple way to keep track of them. It offers a fairly basic set of features, but it is very easy to use.
