Freezetab for Chrome

Just like most modern web browsers, Google Chrome also has decent bookmarking and tab management systems. However, there's the possibility that you're not exactly a big fan of the whole process and you might prefer a more convenient solution for organizing your tabs.

Meet Freezetab, a nifty and lightweight Chrome extension that provides you with a different (and possibly even more efficient) method of organizing and saving your tabs based on the specific period you save them.

Once you deploy it on your favorite browser, you can start saving tabs right off the bat. Simply click the extension's icon, and choose one of the available saving methods. The most convenient (although not the most accurate) method is the Quick Save option as it allows you to index all your tabs with a single mouse click.

If you want a bit more control over the whole procedure, opt for the second method by clicking the "Save Tabs" button. This allows you to save all the tabs, or the current one, everything on the right or left sides of the current tab, everything except the current tab, or handpicked tabs, if you do so require.

The extension also offers you a list of all the saved websites(tabs) based on their domain. Probably just as useful is the app's calendar view, which, as its name suggests, allows you to see a breakdown of all the tabs you have saved each day. Of course, you can go a step even further and organize your tabs even better by creating folders, by adding them to the Favorites, and by sorting them in alphabetical order and vice versa, as well as based on their addition date.

Freezetab is definitely one of the most useful and compelling extensions capable of enhancing Chrome's tab management "skillset." Since the extension is especially relevant for users who are dealing with scores of tabs on a daily basis, it's worth pointing out that it would it could be even more useful if we will see hotkeys at least for some basic actions in the near future.
