Straightforward and useful Google Chrome extension that moves the GitHub repository README.md section to the top of the page automatically. #README.md Move #Move Readme #GitHub Readme #Readme #GitHub #Mover
Git Up is one of the many Google Chrome extensions that, in some way or form, strive to make the user experience with GitHub a bit more pleasant.
In this case, this bare-bones extension was created with a singular purpose in mind - that of moving any GitHub repository's README.md section to the top of the page.
Git Up for Chrome can be installed with just a few mouse clicks directly from the Chrome Web Store, and should work right off the bat, without any user intervention.
Once installed, users should be able to see all GitHub repository README.md sections at the top of the page. This is particularly useful for users who work with multiple GitHub repositories on a daily basis, or simply for those that are tired of scrolling a few times to reach the readme section.
Because the extension does not have a GUI, users should very much leave it unpinned from Chrome's toolbar section. The extension works with all GitHub repositories and does not even require a proper login.
To revert all the changes, users need to remove the extension from Chrome and refresh the page once. It may be simple, but Git Up for Chrome is an efficient extension that does its job well.
