Working online can be somewhat of a challenger for some of us, especially considering the sheer amount of resources and platforms that can easily sweep away even the most consistent traces of productivity. Even though GoGo Productivity is not what someone might call a full-featured productivity tool, it does have a lot going for it. To be more precise, GoGo Productivity is a Goole Chrome extension that provides you with three simple tools for helping you stay focused and productive: an ambient sound generator, a work-mode/focus timer, and a “Don’t-forget-to-drink-water” reminder.

Unsurprisingly, the app’s GUI is split into three main sections. The Ambience section allows you to select one of 6 ambience sounds such as Campfire burning, Coffee shop, Light rain, Windy desert, Inside a car, and Gentle stream. Of course, you can adjust the volume of these ambience sounds and even pause them at any given time and.

The second section is called Hydrate, and it’s basically a hum-drum tool that allows you to set a simple timer to help you stay hydrated while you work. The last section, Timer, is all about getting you in that state of focus. It’s perfect for users who rely on power-sessions of work with short breaks in-between.

To conclude, GoGo Productivity might be a simple tool, but all of its features combine can really make a difference when it comes to improving your productivity.

Sure, it may not be as feature-packed as other Ambience apps out there (for example, the extension does not allow you to combine the ambience sounds, and the sound collection is somewhat limited in comparison), but the fact that it allows you to enjoy the sounds in question while staying hydrated and rested by taking regular breaks is quite valuable.
