Because I access certain websites very frequently during the day, it’s only natural that I use shortcuts. Chrome allows you to add up to 10 shortcut links when opening a new tab, which frankly is more than enough for the regular user.

However, if you typically use need to check dozens of websites daily looking for various things, then you need more than 10 shortcuts. Infinity New Tab is an extension for Chrome that allows you to add as many shortcuts as you want.

I am pleasantly surprised with the number of shortcuts and the way they are all neatly organized when you open a new tab. The default elements include shortcuts to the most popular services and websites nowadays, but you can change that pretty easy.

For example, I added the Softpedia site in just a few clicks, and it even allowed me to use the official icon. I could move it to any position that is more convenient for accessing, as I check it out frequently. To remove shortcuts, right-click, and you select the ones you want to delete.

The Settings tab bundles numerous options so that you configure the extension to suit your work style and browsing preferences. For starters, you can select a new wallpaper, which can range from a non-distracting single color to sophistical images from popular image services.

Moreover, you can customize how the links should be opened, if and how you want to receive email notifications, the icon’s layout, sizes and whether they should include names. The extension also lets you tweak the search box, from including suggestions to keeping the content.

Although not very visible at first, it also packs a to-do feature where you can add anything that needs to be done by typing and pressing Enter. If you click on your entry, the extension marks it as done. Infinity New Tab prioritizes minimalist design and one-stop service, offering a streamlined and user-friendly experience for Chrome users.
