Refind

Refind is a neat Chrome extension that saves a link in order to make sure you get back to check it out, even if you forget about it. We all had that moment when during the working hours an interesting article just caught our attention, but we never actually went back to read it, as it got lost or forgotten. Refind acts like a bookmark manager, keeping the links stored until you decide to go back to them.

To use the extension, you'll have to provide an email address so an activation code can be sent to you. The code then gives you full access to the add-on and also to the main website, Refind.com. After the quick sign-up, you can start to save your links and manage your profile. Saving a link requires two clicks only, and the list can get as long as you want. If you have too many links that cover certain domains, you can create new collections for a better URL organization.

If you want to visit the site and make some changes to your profile, you can go to Save Link > Settings. The settings button will redirect you to the main website, which offers better visibility for all your content.

If you expect a bland and boring type of list, you are wrong. A collection/reading list holds a lot of information about a URL and its source. Moreover, you have a bunch of features to take advantage of. Options like archive, share, visit the source site, add tags, and many others, are available for use.

For social media enthusiasts, Refind allows account synching from popular platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Google, Pocket, etc.

Refind can be seen by some like a small extension that will remind them of an article or a page and nothing more, while by others like a way of gathering and indexing any relevant page, in order to establish overflowing archives of information.
