SndControl

There are numerous music streaming services to choose from nowadays, and we often end up having to switch between them in order to listen to specific songs or playlists. If using a browser, this normally means you have to keep several tabs open at once.

SndControl is a Chrome extension that lets you control everything from an accessible, intuitive UI. It supports a number of popular streaming services and allows you to perform various actions with simple mouse clicks.

SndControl can be synchronized with multiple popular music services, including Spotify, SoundCloud, Pandora, Amazon Music, Google Music and YouTube. Simply select the players you wish to manage from the extension's settings.

Once the initial setup has been completed, you will be able to pick the service you wish to use by just clicking the extension's icon in the Chrome toolbar.

After a player has been selected, you can start or stop playback by just clicking the extension's icon. You can double-click to open the control pad or triple-click to like the track. These shortcuts are customizable.

The control pad displays the current song's album art and also includes some basic playback controls. From here, you can also manage the volume, shuffle songs and enable or disable looping.

While they are disabled by default, you can set a number of keyboard shortcuts for managing playback, liking songs and so on. These can be configured to work only in Chrome or regardless of which application is in the foreground.
