Git History for Firefox

This extension has no menus or anything of the sort: install it, go to GitHub, then head to a file in a repository of your choice. Clicking a file will bring up an Open in Git History button, granting you the possibility to see its history in detail. If no changes have been made to the file, the button will not appear.

Upon opening a file's history, you'll be taken to a new page where you'll be able to see the revisions that took place. Changes to the file will be grouped by date, and browsing between them is smooth.

When clicking on an instance where the file was modified, the extension will highlight the additions, and with the way the interface works, you can easily see when a line was replaced by another or erased altogether.

The developer's commits will appear right below their date in a non-intrusive way, along with the highlighted changes.
