Google Search Plus for Firefox

Google Search has many nifty functions that not many users know about when it comes to performing accurate searches using advanced filters, such as language, last update time, reading level, and file type. There's also a "More" button right beneath the search bar, which runs searches on specific platforms. For instance, you can look only for books or flights.

Unfortunately, the "More" feature is rather limited since it doesn't give you the possibility to include your favorite search domains. To overcome this issue, you can use Google Search Plus. Specially designed for Firefox users, this addon lets you specify any websites you want to browse when using Google Search, such as Amazon, Twitter, YouTube or Wikipedia.

It can be easily integrated with the newest version of Firefox. Unlike most browser addons, it doesn't show an icon next to the Firefox menu to indicate its presence and provide quick access to its features. Instead, you have to head over to the settings panel.

Once you reach this place, you can add as many custom links as you want to show in the "More" tab of Google Search. Several examples are provided by Google Search Plus for Amazon, Twitter, Wikipedia, YouTube, Google Play, eBay, Firefox Addon, Amazon prime video, Google Scholar, and MDN web docs. However, any other website can be added too.

In addition to typing or pasting the site URL, you can set its display name and keyword. The keyword step is optional and can be used to complement the search term and deliver more accurate results. For instance, if you want to look for a rabbit toy on eBay, you can add the "toy" keyword so that the search will exclude pets, rabbit food or anything else related to rabbits that's not a toy.

Besides the fact that you can remove any links if you change your mind, there are no other options available. Google Search Plus worked smoothly in our tests, ideal for Firefox users who wish to enhance Google Search.
