Colors and themes are a matter of taste, and most people want to have things in the way that's most pleasing to their eyes. The color scheme of a webpage is part of this category also, and, unless the website provides a way to change how it looks, you are limited to having a different theme only for your browser UI, and not for the webpages that you visit as well.

Midnight Lizard comes with a solution that allows you to customize, in-depth, the elements' color and overall looks of any website you visit. In short, you can make it look as you wish, with the tones and hues you prefer.

From the toolbar icon, you can access everything Midnight Lizard provides. You have a drop-down menu with all the predefined themes you can pick, but the extension's great utility lies in the ability to create and use more than one custom scheme on different websites.

The extension allows you to define the color of the buttons, the background area, the text, links and borders. You can even add images for a scheme's background, with available options to set their brightness and saturation levels, but also determine their size limit.

If you do not need to create your custom scheme from scratch, you can edit the current provided themes to suit your needs. Or if you are only looking for something to enhance readability, you have the option to apply a blue light filter or adjust the contrast to make text a bit more readable.

Another smart feature it has is the option to schedule automatic activation and deactivation of your custom schemes, as well as the possibility to dynamically change the browser's themes.
