Facebook updated its looks some time ago and, for a while, it displayed a small toggle icon that allowed logged in users to switch to the old account with a click. However, logging in with a different account in a browser that has the extension installed does not guarantee that the old layout will be applied.

Old Layout for Facebook for Firefox can modify the aspect of your Facebook page for no more than 48 hours. Once the time runs out, the popup window is shown once more, allowing you to apply the changes again. In other words, the switch is not permanent.
