Cookie Editor Pro is a nifty extension that gives Opera users full control over their browser cookies. This is a faster alternative and a cleaner approach to what the browser has to offer regarding cookie management. Are there cookies under your name that you'd want going? It can be done. Also, getting rid of cookies is not all. One can edit those pesky 'biscuits' as well.

The add-ons UI tab starts with a short introduction to what Cookie Editor Pro is able to do. The first and most obvious function is item deletion. Each entry has a checkbox attached to it, as well as a combo menu. Cookies are not directly displayed, but they are attached to the domain they originate from. A domain can have multiple stored cookies, all made visible by the mentioned combo menu.

Because some cookies are helpful with site preference conservation, manually removing cookies would be the best way forward. On the flip side, users who want to sanitize the browser can delete all the cookies at once. Filtering items by domain name can be done as well.

The add-on allows for cookie editing if you know what you are doing in this regard, of course. The domain, path, and name of the cookie can be changed while editing, along with their store ID, value, and expiry date. One can use the same criteria to create and set up new cookies. Fill in the blanks with the right data and a new item will pop up on your list.
