If you like to explore a wide range of radio stations from all over the world when it comes to finding new music, you have to try odio. Built as a free, elegant and easy-to-use radio player, the Electron-based application features support for over 20,000 channels spread over the entire globe.

There are installer and portable editions available, so you can download whichever you prefer more. The main difference is that the no-install version can be stored in your collection of portable software and fired up whenever you want to play radio while working, studying or enjoying free time.

As far as the interface is concerned, odio has a sophisticated appearance and well-organized layout, where you can easily browse radio channels. Two themes can be toggled for the GUI: light and dark.

The left side of the main window provides access to the library, recently played channels, filters, and configuration settings. The streaming app uses online radio lists provided by www.radio-browser.info. A splash screen shows a random fun trivia fact about radio on each program startup.

Stations can be filtered by countries, languages and tags. You can effortlessly play, pause and resume radio, play the previous or next channel in the list, adjust the volume level, add favorites to your library, as well as check out radio details such as country of origin, homepage, language, codec, bit rate, and last check time.

We haven't come across any compatibility issues with the latest Windows edition in our tests. Taking into account its cool interface and intuitive options, odio can be used by anyone interested in a radio streaming app. Needless to say, it cannot work unless you have an active Internet connection.
