Akti Blog is a feature-rich and accessible program that comes bundled with a wide variety of editing and formatting elements, to make unique blog entries, and share them on your webpage when you're done.

The provided interface is intuitive and easy-to-use divided into a small toolbar on the left side of the window, a folder tree, and a detailed record view. To publish it, you have to configure a few FTP settings.

The app comes with a default database that can be replaced by replaced with a new one from the menu. Making a new file brings up a word editor, where you can type in the content or paste it from the clipboard. Plus, it's possible to insert images in almost all the supported formats (e.g. JPG, GIF, CUT, PCD, PSD, PIC, BMP), videos (AVI, WMV, FLV, MPG), and audio items.

The tool lets you configure various settings, like running the app at startup, cycle wallpapers after a particular time, use a remote database, pick the default video player. You can select the blog folder, template, and video width and height values. A useful feature is the ability to backup and restore the data in case you encounter issues.
