Sick Beard checks for new episodes of your favorite shows and when they are posted it downloads them. It comes with an intuitive graphical interface with plenty of tools at hand.

The application doesn't take long to install and it doesn't come with a complicated setup that you must complete before you can actually use it. It sports a really intuitive graphical interface with plenty of tools and nice features at hand.

The application monitors data and watches for new episodes of your favorite shows and when they are posted it downloads them. It also sorts and renames them, and optionally generates metadata for them.

It currently supports NZBs.org, NZBMatrix, NZBs'R'Us, Newzbin, Womble's Index, NZB.su, TVTorrents and EZRSS and retrieves show information from theTVDB.com and TVRage.com. The first thing that you need to do after launching the application is to add shows.

You will need to type in the name of the show, as well as the language. The parent folder on your computer must be picked and you can adjust some options. There's the option to set the initial status of your missed episodes and to specify the preferred quality of episodes to be downloaded.

A separate section inside the application allows you to check out coming episodes. It arranges episodes into seasons and lets you filter them by watched, skipped, archived or ignored. You can also check out a history of all downloaded and watched shows.

You can manage shows and searches inside the application. It lets you adjust some settings inside the application, you can even set a password and lock access to information.

Sick Beard is a very nice application that you could use for keeping track of your favorite shows and automatically downloading episodes to your computer.
