Copy webpages with all the image and text content included to a local file so that you can access it anytime in offline mode via this tool #Copy web file #Copy web page #Command prompt #Copier #Transfer #Batch
Granted, there are numerous browsers out there that allow you to save a web page as HTML so you can access it offline anytime. However, there may be times when you prefer to preserve the content of the page, both images and text, in a local file rather than the standard bookmarking system.
Saving pages to a local file is preferable if you want to access the information on the page without an Internet connection. At the same time, you can be certain that you have the information included, just in case you have reasons to suspect the page is about to be taken down.
HttpCopy is a tiny application designed to help you copy a web file or web page to a local file. It may be used in a batch file to copy some live data from a web server to the local disk. Functionality-wise, the utility entails that you specify the domain of the page you want to save along with the folder and file it should be stored in.
The tool makes copying pages a lot simpler than any other know methods, such as using the Save as approach for example, since various elements from the page may or may not work when you attempt to open it.
