Easily download multiple photos from a web page at a time, with a capture tool to quickly target the desired website and hotkeys for less effort and more comfort #Grab image #Download image #Image downloader #Grabber #Grab #Download
Millions of pictures get uploaded on the Internet on a daily basis, some which can serve as inspiration for your projects, or simply to look cool on your desktop background. If you’ve stumbled upon a website with many pictures you want to grab, then eSaver can skip you both the time and effort needed otherwise to manually perform this operation.
On the visual side of things, the application stores all of its features in an intuitive interface, letting individuals of all levels of experience quickly get the hang of things. The target URL goes in a dedicated field that’s next to the one required for the destination of pictures. The rest of the space is used to show grabbed files, with the possibility to have them viewed in your default web browser.
There’s a quick method to get your hands on the target website, with the application letting you use a URL capture method you only need to point out at any text string that looks like a web address. What’s more, hotkey support lets you trigger this function with even less effort.
In case your Internet connection is not that reliable, you can pay a visit to the options menu for several tweaks. For instance, a handful of value fields let you set the number of times to retry, download and analysis timeout in milliseconds, total number of connections, and a few more. You can also set the destination folder to be brought up when done.
The process itself doesn’t usually take long, with the list of files being updated in real time. Sadly, you need to make sure that pictures are found under the specifications of interest on the given URL, such as resolution, or you end up with downloaded thumbnails and button icons.
To be fair, eSaver doesn’t bring anything new on the block, but it does manage to save some time and effort when it comes to downloading more pictures from the web at once. Hotkeys and the URL capture feature are pretty useful, but the source needs to hold images in the desired format and resolution if things are to work out as planned.
