Movie Alerts

Movie Alerts is a feature-rich app made for computers running Windows 8, 8.1 and 10, which sends you notifications with the latest released movies. It has a built-in search tool and needs an active Internet connection to work properly.

The tool can be seamlessly downloaded from the Microsoft Store and integrated with the Start Screen of Windows 8 and 8.1, along with the Start Menu of Windows 10. It lets launched in a large window with a dark theme, where you can view large posters of the newest released motion pictures.

Clicking on a poster takes you to the movie's page inside Movie Alerts, where you can find out the synopsis, actors (listed in alphabetical order), directories, genres, release date, and rating.

Moreover, you can click actor names to find out more details about them, such as biography, movies they starred in, place of birth, and date of birth.

It's possible to resort to the built-in search tool to locate a specific actor, director or genre, and add movies to a favorites list for quick access, or to a watchlist to receive notifications.

You can subscribe to email alerts for new movies from a specific actor, as well as look up additional details about movies on YouTube, Amazon Instant Video, Google, IMDB Mobile, or any other specified website.

There were no compatibility issues in our tests. Movie Alerts had minimal impact on the computer's performance and didn't hang, crash or prompt errors.

Thanks to its attractive interface and neatly structured layout optimized for desktops and tablets running Windows 8, 8.1 and 10, the feather-light app can be seamlessly handled by users who want to discover the newest Hollywood releases and receive email notifications in this regard.
