Scup

Scup is a lightweight tool designed to facilitate the access to your SoundCloud account in order to upload new files. If you are using the SoundCloud service to publish your music or other audio files, this tool is a real time-saver.

The SoundCloud platform allows music producers to distribute their work to users from around the world. In order to use the service, you need to upload your files to the cloud storage and this application aims to facilitate the connection without using an Internet browser.

When starting the program for the first time it will redirect you to the SoundCloud page in order to generate the authorization code. Afterwards, the program allows you to create new sets by simply selecting the files that you need to upload.

You can edit the details for each track in order to specify the genre, release date and license. The buy link and the keywords required to find the song in the database can also be added.

The metadata editor offers you the option to edit each file at a time or specify the details for all the tracks from the set. After you have entered the details and the album art you can upload your files with just one click.

Other useful features include the ability to specify the track availability and enable the users to download the files. You can also send notifications to your friends by specifying their email addresses.

In our tests, Scup successfully uploaded multiple files and allowed us to visit the album page by clicking on the confirmation message.
