After connecting with your Google account, you can check out your Google Docs profile, including any documents that you already have stored there. It's possible to write new documents, remove files or open them in new tabs (in ThunderDocs, not your web browser), share docs with someone else, download and upload files, and so on. Additional options provided by the desktop client are for zooming in and out, and toggling fullscreen mode.
