XMLSpear

XMLSpear is a user-friendly piece of software that provides users with the possibility to create and edit XML documents, as well as discover and correct errors on them.

The software comes with an intuitive, easy-to-use interface that provides users with a file browser and with a document editor so that they could edit any existing XML documents effortlessly. They can create new files fast.

Users can browse folders and files on their PC from the left-side panel on the software's main window while being able to view and edit their XML documents in the upper-right pane. They can view info on the performed actions on the bottom-right panel.

The tool includes a series of instruments designed for experienced users, such as interactive schema resolving, as well as a treetable, which makes it easy for them to view the structure of the XML file.

Users are provided with the possibility to insert or remove nodes from their documents, as well as to create new documents from scratch. The utility also includes support for writing tags and reserved XML characters.

With the help of XMLSpear, users can edit plain text files, including shell scripts, .ini and config files. Moreover, they can take advantage of an included MQSeries plugin, which enables them to insert and export MQSeries messages in their XML documents.

The software comes with support for schema validation, including real-time validation against DTD or schema while also including textual and visual feedback that make it easier to discover errors.
