This project aims to wrap the Microsoft Windows Bluetooth API's with JSR-82 using JNI. Get Bluesock and take it for a test drive to see how useful it can be in implementing Bluetooth API in Java.
System requirements
- Windows XP Service Pack 2 and the Platform SDK is required to access the Windows Bluetooth API's.
- J2ME Wireless Toolkit 2.2 (or later) is required for the JSR-82 API's and MIDP/CLDC for mobile bluetooth applicaitons.
What's new in Bluesock 1.0:
- Follows the JSR-82 specification.
- Full RFCOMM support.
- Full encryption and authentication mechanisms.
- OBEX is not currently implemented but will be included in the next release.
