Remote monitoring can be of use to a number of users, and those with a particular interest in keeping track of their hardware performance are already well aware of the methods they can use. You often see streamers using such tools, but most of the time, they're relying on an external board to handle everything, which is an added cost.
Even if you do not have an external board, you might still be able to take advantage of such functions. With Pitikapp, all you'll need is a mobile device and a computer, both connected to the same network.
This program gives users the ability to monitor their computer hardware on a remote device. This remote device should ideally be a mobile phone or tablet, though you can download a client and use it on another computer as well.
As for the setup process, it's quite a seamless one. You simply install the app on your computer and smartphone, and if they're on the same network, they'll automatically connect once you boot it up.
Upon connecting to a device, you'll be able to monitor your computer in all sorts of ways. Integration with well-renowned tools, such as MSI Afterburner, Core Temp, Fraps, GPU-Z, and HWiNFO allows for some very in-depth data, but you'll need to have installed the respective software in the first place.
The software can display some readings itself via the HW Monitoring function, providing data about your CPU and RAM usage. Everything you wish to monitor on your remote device can first be customized to your liking: choose whether you want the reading to be displayed as a gauge, value, unit, or threshold, and go from there.
Some additional tools can work to make the experience more complete. Users can elect to have shortcuts and open certain pages from their remote device, and have their computer execute them. This is all surprisingly easy to set up, and if you're looking for something a little simpler, media controls and Spotify integration are also present.
As such, users will be able to freely control the media playing on their computer via their remote device, as well as see their currently playing Spotify songs, both from the monitoring window.
Pitikapp is a feature-rich tool to help users monitor their computer in various ways, and even trigger some functions remotely. It's easy to set up, and it provides those looking for such functionality an environment in which they can do so.
